Morgan appeared in a documentary clip Safe Sex for Men and Women that addressed AIDS prevention and education. A portion of the proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the leader of numerous fund-raising efforts to combat the disease and been a witness to an Congressional Special Committee regarding AIDS Education. She sits on the board of Governors of APLA. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has requested her to substitute for him at AIDS events and she has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to make appearances on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan has won one Emmy Award for Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was made specifically for Morgan. In the spring of this year, Morgan starred with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The film was produced By Zerneck and Sertner and starred Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. Then, she was transported to Luxembourg to film Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan also starred in the psychological suspense thriller which was produced exclusively for the USA Network garnering one of the highest ratings ever recorded by the network's history.
